Mr David McAuliffe
Executive Chairman
David McAuliffe is Executive Chairman of 4DS. He is an experienced board director and entrepreneur who has over 24 years’ corporate experience and been involved in numerous capital raisings and in-licensing of technologies. He is a founder of several companies in Australia, France and the United Kingdom, many of which have become public companies. Mr McAuliffe holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Bachelor of Pharmacy, is Interim Non-Executive Chairman of Invex Therapeutics Ltd and is the President of the Dyslexia–Speld Foundation WA (Inc).
Dr Guido Arnout, PhD
Non-Executive Director
Guido Arnout is Non-Executive Director of 4DS. Prior to joining 4DS in 2013, Dr Arnout has helped guide multiple Silicon Valley companies through commercialisation or sale. He was the founding President and CEO of PowerEscape, which introduced the first tools for the development of low-power software executing on multi-core devices. He was also founding President and CEO of CoWare, which pioneered system-level design tools for hardware-software co-design and the time-based licensing business model. Dr Arnout co-founded the Open SystemC Initiative, an industry consortium to standardise a language for system level design, and as its President submitted the SystemC language to IEEE. He served as VP of Engineering and later senior VP of marketing of CrossCheck Technology. He co-founded and later became VP of Engineering of Silvar-Lisco, the first commercial EDA (electronic design automation) company. Dr Arnout holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Leuven in Belgium.
Mr Howard Digby
Non-Executive Director
Howard Digby is a Non-Executive Director of 4DS. Mr Digby started his career at IBM and has spent over 25 years managing technology related businesses in the Asia Pacific region, of which 12 years were spent in Hong Kong ending up with The Economist Group as Regional Managing Director. Prior to this he held senior management roles at Adobe and Gartner where his clients included major semiconductor players including Samsung, Hynix and TSMC. Mr Digby is currently Non Exec Chairman of Singular Health (ASX:SHG) and Non Executive Director of Spenda (ASX:SPX) and Elsight (ASX:ELS). Mr Digby holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from The University of Western Australia.

Mr Ting P Yen
Chief Technology Officer
Ting Yen is Chief Technology Officer at 4DS Memory. He has over 30 years of semiconductor experience and is an expert in semiconductor process technology with emphasis on memory architecture / process integration. Ting started his career at the heart of Silicon Valley with semiconductor pioneers: Fairchild, Hewlett Packard and Philips Research. He then focused his career on memory technology development and has held key engineering management roles in advanced Research &Development of memory platforms including SRAM, Ternary CAM, Non-Volatile Flash memory and Emerging memory. He has also served as Vice President Engineering for a US based custom foundry wafer fab. Ting holds 21 US Patents and a Master’s of Science Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Mr Peter Himes
Chief Strategic Officer
Mr Peter Himes is an experiences senior executive in high growth technology firms, with extensive general management responsibilities. He is agile at building winning teams, defining and addressing new markets, building key relationships and partnerships all across the value chain, and promoting and evangelizing for business opportunities. Peter is consistently recognized as a thought leader across multiple industries with a strong focus on innovation systems and strategic alliances over the past 10 years.
